Industrial Steampunk Corner Floating Shelves

I built these sturdy corner floating shelves to connect 2 larger storage units on adjacent walls. They are 18″ deep to match the storage units so all the components look like one giant wrap-around unit. This same design works if you are building stand-alone floating shelves for a corner. Rather than staining the wood panels that make up the top and bottom, I decided to make them look like steampunk-inspired old metal plates – complete with faux rivets!
