Matching the Castle Paint Job to the Winding Road

FULL STREAM | PART 14: FRANKEN-LIGHTNING DETECTOR

With most of the major components of the project complete, there’s a few odds and ends left to wrap up like finishing the remaining paint job for our Frankenstein castle foam miniature scene – the treacherous road that winds through the cliffs all the way up to the castle entrance.

The objective is to try and match the castle paint job with the road so it looks like both structures were built at the same time so I used the same 50/50 mix of Mod Podge and white acrylic paint as a basecoat and layered on the rest of the paint in a similar manner to how we did the castle.
